EJP Spring 2017 Awards Convocation
We recognized the recipients of the new Certificate for Learning Studies in May 2017 at Danville Correctional Center. The dean of the College of Education, James Anderson, presented the certificates. More photos of the Awards Convocation are on our Flickr site.
Fall Convocation 2016
We marked the beginning of another academic year at Danville Correctional Center with our Fall Convocation on August 18, 2016. We were honored to be joined by outgoing Danville Area Community President Alice Marie Jacobs and the outgoing dean of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaigns’s College of Education, Mary Kalantzis. Every Spring we honor the EJP students who have done exceptional work at our annual Awards Convocation. This year, we were delighted that the President of the University of Illinois, Tim Killeen, and the director of the Illinois Department of Corrections, John Baldwin, were able to attend.
